Here is an important note on pictures:

Let's say you have a photo that is really large. You place it on your webpage and resize it, but you have not changed the size of the file by doing this!

You should edit the photo in a program like Photo Elements. Resize the photo and save the resized version with a different name. Your file will be smaller. That means less file storage, less data transfer, and a quicker download for slow connections!

Edit your photos! Every photo on this page has been altered, just to give you some ideas as to what you can do. Note how the pictures of my cars have borders and text?

Notice how they are all exactly the same size, which makes them fit together nicely on the page?

Sometimes you can make your photos more powerful with some simple editing.

Adjust colors and contrast, clone out unwanted features, crop when necessary,
